Sorry for not making any recent reviews, i’ve been in poland for over a week but now i’m back to make new ones.
iCollider is a fun game when you are bored. The only problem so far, it got some wierd bugs, getting the app crash and makes you get a lot, a lot of points. It also empty your screen for atoms, which is the objects you have to destroy in the game. To the end of that bug, it comes a small atom which gets bigger and bigger and …

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone

Having released GTA: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS with great success, Rockstar Games has finally decided to release the game to iPhone. A problem with the DS (256×192 screen resolution) version of the game were the graphics, which, to quote reviewers, were “terrible”. However the iPhone (and iPod touch) have much higher screen resolutions than the DS, so we’re all expecting an improvement on the graphics. So we’re expecting a great game.
The image shown here is a screenshot from the PSP version of the game, which is scheduled for …

Look at the CUTE BLOBS

Despite being a guy, cute things always have had a place in my heart. Maybe it’s because of my Asian background. Regardless of the reasons, when I saw AquaGlobs by the guys over at Qwiboo, I knew I had to play the game. The guys over at Qwiboo were kind enough to send me my own set of blobs to play with.
The premise of AquaGlobs is simple: direct blue and orange blobs into their own colors to make them grow and disappear. Direction is done by …

Juggle and Match~

Pick up and play games are always a good way to waste time while you are waiting in line at the bank or bumming around waiting for someone to come.  Poppi is a simple game that requires only one finger to play.  The guys over at PomPom Games were kind enough to give me a swing at the game.
Poppi is very simple.  Tap to make shapes collide.  When you tap on the screen a small shockwave is formed which pushes the shapes.  You must make shapes of the same kind …

Sorry for not staying on for a while. Summer holiday is making it hard for me to make reviews. But i am back now so this is my 2nd review.
Momentum is a fun game to have. It got 50 levels and they get very advanced and hard. It’s got a retro look, but the game is new i think. The meaning is that you have a ball that goes up and down, and you steer it with two buttons on the left and right side to make it go to …

The Periodic Table Stars in a Game!

The App Store is filled with games that try to mimic the top-down view shooter that Geometry Wars made famous. Some do a crappy job and some others take it to the next level. Isotope, by iDrinkApp.com, adds multiple levels of depth to create a detailed and fun top-down view shooter with great controls that is in a category of its own.

The main menu is chock full of selections. You can choose to view the credits, see the options, change the save file you are playing (you can have up …

Fight the Moon in Earth vs. Moon

Remakes of classic games often times get it wrong. They can create games that just plain suck. Luckily, Earth vs. Moon, by Low Five Games, is not one of these games. Earth vs. Moon is a remake of the classic Missile Command. I love Missile Command and was granted the chance to review this game by LFG.

The basic premise of the game is that the Moon is now the enemy of Earth. It has sent aliens and missiles to attack and destroy Earth and you must control three lone satellites …

Harbor Master – Unload that Cargo!

Flight Control has spawned a new genre in iPod Touch and iPhone gaming.  Harbor Master is a game recently released on the App Store by Imangi Studios.  It draws upon the simple concept made famous by Flight Control and adds some twists to it.  Add in limited docking areas and the need to lead boats off the map and you have a game that requires micromanagement and speed.  Natalia over at Imangi was kind enough to provide a copy of this recently released game for review.
Harbor Master gives you the …

The pick up and play genre has become a phenomenon on the iPod Touch and iPhone. Most apps in the top 25 are 59p  apps that are pick up and play games like big titles flight control and parachute panic (my favourite game go check it out) have made a lot of money out of. This is what gets on my nerve about this game which I’ll come to later.
Draw race is a 2D drawing game where you have to draw a line around a track. The speed of how …
