Need an FM Transmitter? budgetgadgets.com is here to help! They have many inexpensive tech gadgets that anyone can afford. They were actually kind enough to send me out their popular FM Transmitter. For those of you who haven’t heard of what an FM Transmitter is, here is a short Wikipedia definition:

“An FM transmitter is a portable device that plugs into the headphone jack or proprietary output port of a portable audio or video device, such as a portable media player, CD player, or satellite radio system. The sound is then broadcast through the transmitter, and plays through an FM broadcast band frequency. Purposes for an FM transmitter include playing music from a device through a car stereo, or any radio.”

When I first got my hands on this product I was disappointed since they only thing that was include in the package was the FM Transmitter itself and a car charger, but no user manual. budgetgadgets.com only offers ONLINE instruction manuals. Here is a step by step guide:

1. Plug the FM Transmitter in the correct port of your multimedia device.

2. Use the (+) and (-) to select a frequency.

3. Then select the same frequency on your tune radio. Example: If you select the frequency 96.5 on the FM Transmitter then you need to select the SAME frequency on your tune radio.

4. Open the “Music/Play/iPod” Application, and select a song. Then click “Play”. Once you do you should here the song that you selected  through the speakers of your tune radio.

And if ever you are in your car, and your iPod is just about to die, don’t worry! BudgetGadgets.com was smart enough to include a car charger, which will permit you to charge your iPod to its full capability.

This is certainly one of the best FM Transmitters I have ever tried. This product is powered by your ipods battery, and when the FM Transmitter is not in use it automatically shuts down. Overall this product certainly gets a 4/5 stars, since the only problem I really found was that the product itself didn’t include any user manual. Anyways, a little research doesn’t hurt.
