The most popular Apple product right now is the iPod Nano. The iPod Nano is much smaller than the standard iPod, but has almost all of the same capabilities. There are two generations of the iPod Nano. Most people prefer the iPod Nano 2nd gen because the casing is more durable and less prone to scratching. The first iPod Nano was quite popular, except that it was so easy to get scratched. So Apple went back to the designing board and developed the new casing. …

First impressions
The curved design, for instance, calls to mind the MacBook Air and gives the impression that the iPod nano is even thinner than its modest 6.2 mm (0.24 inch). The aluminium and glass body, combined with the new shape and a weight of just 36.8 grams (1.3 ounces), also make the iPod nano comfortable to use. The one possible drawback to the comfort factor, though, is the sharpness of the corners. This shouldn’t be a problem unless you have the iPod nano in a pocket and it jabs you …

I am wondering because I would like to buy one.
The iPod Nano 5th Generation is the one with the video camera; the latest one released.
I would like a dock that is able to be used remotely via a remote control. And that can be used as an alarm clock with my iPod songs as the alarm sound.
I have NO expirience with iPod docks as this one will be my first, but all I know is, they can be awkward with compatibility.

Today when syncing my ipod, I received a message saying that a certain song was not being copied to my ipod because it could not play it. This certain song has been in my library for awhile and I had previously had it on my ipod and was able to play it. I can still play it in the library. Today, when syncing, this song was removed from my ipod. How do I get it back onto my ipod?
